Chief Executive Officer

Rayla J. Allison, JD

Ms. Allison brings a wealth of sport industry experience to the institute from amateur, collegiate, professional sports and national governing body leadership. In addition to her fulltime faculty position in the School of Kinesiology's Sport Management program, she continues to work with clients in corporate, contract, employment, and education law. A noted national speaker, Ms. Allison is often sought after for her expertise in law, marketing and management. She utilizes over thirty years of business relationships to introduce University of Minnesota students to the sport industry and industry projects.

Ms. Allison is a graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, Texas Woman's University and University of Texas at Arlington. She serves on the board of directors to Babe Ruth League, Inc., Foundation IX and Cultural Jambalaya. She is a hall of fame member of the National Softball Coaches Association and a Distinguished Alumni of the University of Texas at Arlington.
